DownloadCODE was responsible for devising and implementing the site promotion strategy for the redevelopment of the partly redundant Tudor Nursery for housing development.
At the time of CODE’s appointment, the site was not a preferred allocation in the draft local plan. Following extensive consultation and negotiation with council planning officers and engagement with councillors and other stakeholders, the site was identified in the submitted local plan for the development of c350 homes. During the course of the local plan Examination in Public, CODE led the submission of an application for planning permission, accompanied by an Environmental Impact Assessment, and achieved the grant of planning permission prior to the adoption of the local plan.
